Silicone Rubber for Rollers (Condensation-Curing/Addition-Curing)

 

Condensation-Curing:

Overview:

This silicone rubber, specially designed for rollers, is a two-component condensation-curing silicone rubber.

It consists of Part A (base) and Part B (curing agent). When mixed, the two components cure at room temperature to achieve rapid molding.

 

Features:

1. High resilience, low deformation, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, with long service life.

2. Soft and non-toxic material.

3. Resistant to humid environments, easy to store.

 

Applications:

Used for forming the rubber layer of rollers.

Processing Instructions:

1. Measure the required amount of Part A into a container that is 3–4 times larger in volume. Add Part B in the specified mixing ratio by weight, and stir thoroughly until fully blended. After vacuum degassing, the mixture is ready for use.

2. The recommended operating environment is 20~25°C with 50% relative humidity. High temperature and humidity or low temperature and humidity will affect gel time and curing time. Therefore, the dosage of curing agent should be adjusted accordingly to achieve the desired result.

 

Storage:

To maintain product quality, store in a dry environment at room temperature (25°C), sealed in its original container.

Available in 20kg/25kg pails or 200kg drums.

 

 


 

Addition-Curing:

Overview:

This addition-curing silicone rubber for rollers is a two-component liquid silicone rubber. With the proper amount of crosslinker added, it undergoes full vulcanization during heating, forming a flexible elastomer.

It consists of two components, Part A and Part B, mixed at either 10:1 or 1:1 ratio.

 

Features:

1. High resilience, low deformation, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, with long service life.

2. Soft and non-toxic material.

3. Resistant to humid environments, easy to store.

 

Applications:

Used for forming the rubber layer of rollers.

Processing Instructions:

1. Measure the required amount of Part A into a container that is 3–4 times larger in volume. Add Part B according to the mixing ratio of 10:1 or 1:1 by weight, and stir thoroughly until fully blended. After vacuum degassing, the mixture is ready for use.

2. At 25°C, the working time is 40–50 minutes. Cure at 80~120°C for 30–40 minutes to complete vulcanization.

3. Working and curing times can be adjusted according to customer requirements.

 

Storage:

To maintain product quality, store in a dry environment at room temperature (25°C), sealed in its original container.

· Avoid contact with moisture or water vapor to prevent increased viscosity or changes in working time.

· Be aware that compounds containing phosphorus, sulfur, amines, or organotin may poison the catalyst and cause incomplete curing.
